Skin Candida: Bitten from the Inside Out

Have you ever had the experience of having a
spontaneous eruption of little bumps, or what
looks like little bites, on your skin and
wondered if your bed has bugs?

Some people might call this a rash. Some might
think its an allergy. Very few, if any, will
perceive it as an attempt of a microbe - like
candida albicans (yeast) - to leave the body.

Candida albicans is a yeast or fungus that is a
normal part of the body’s flora (or ‘garden’ is a
way you can think of it) It’s part of the ‘eco-
terrain that helps systems balance in the body.

We co-habitate with these little critters, along
with a host of other microbes, and they actually
serve us as a part of our immune system.

There is a time when they don’t serve us and start
to cause more harm than good - when they overgrow and
get out of control and then they start compromising
our immune system.

This happens when we introduce things into the body
to cause them to overgrow. A perfect example is
when people take antibiotics to kill certain bacteria.

Antibiotics designed to kill pathogenic bacteria (bad bugs)
but also kill good bacteria - the good bacteria
that keeps things in balance. When the good bacteria is
destroyed, candida albicans, or yeast overgrow like crazy.

Other things that kill the good bacteria are oral
contraceptives, steroids, antacids, and anti-ulcer meds and
other medications.

When you combine the destruction of good bacteria with a high
sugar intake, or high refined carb diet, then you are assured to
have some nice colonies of critters growing in different areas of
the body usually where there are mucous membranes
(gastointestinal system, sinuses, ears, mouth, nose, vagina).

When there is a leaky gut situation then the overgrowth of
candida can get into the bloodstream and travel to different
parts of the body.

“Systemic candida” aka “systemic candidiasis” can affect the
whole body and many systems in the body.

The way to keep candida thriving in the body is to create an acid
condition - from stress or diet high in sugar, meat, caffeine.

Candida LOVES sugar and multiplies rapidly with sugar. So if
you are diabetic and your sugars are high you are helping candida
overgrow as well.

Think of how you grow yeast to make bread - dark, moist
environment and feed it with sugar.

Candida overgrowth can cause a multitude of problems:
allergies, depression, headaches, sinus problems.
panic attacks, constipation, diarrhea, irritable bowel,
itchy eyes, environmental sensitivities, rectal itching,
vaginal yeast infections, psoriasis, eczema, ADD, ADHD,
hyperactivity, lactose intolerance, Obsessive Compulsive
Disorder. . .and even more

The best way to get rid of candida?

Two strong recommendations:
One - don’t feed it (it eats sugar), and gross. . .they
have their own digestive process and their waste
go right where they live - in you
Two - take an internal substance that is going to kill it
(such as certain essential oils)

So - ideally . . .do a cleanse and use essential oils (and make
sure you are eliminating!)

When candida is systemic it can affect the skin - especially when
it is in a state of either overgrowth or die-off.

You can watch where the skin candida erupts and get information
as to where the issue is. This is evident to people who know how
to read the body.

Much like a reflexologist hits points on the feet for other parts
of the body, there are points on the colon that express in other
parts of the body. for example - if there is a breakout on the
shins it is indicative of issues in the colon - right leg
ascending colon, left leg descending colon.

Things that happen in the body symmetrically really prove that
there is a wisdom and a purpose for what is happening.

A great chart to learn about colon reflex points comes out of the
Bernard Jensen material - here is a link for his website and the
chart:
http://www.bernardjensen.com/product_info.php?products_id=163

When someone has leaky gut syndrome the colon wall is thin and
the candida can get out into circulation and into tissues. This
is when you see skin candida erupting.

When skin candida erupts a characteristic lesion appears. It can
be accompanied by circular redness, a little bump, and its itchy.
When you scratch it the skin breaks ever so slightly in a circle
- it is almost a perfect circle.
It can be almost sore to touch and it stays there for a long time
(a few days).

It is not unusual for this to happen to people who have systemic
candida, are constipated, somewhat acidic, and are using
essential oils. These little bumps or breakouts can occur
because it is the die off of candida - the oils are actually
doing what they are supposed to be doing, and the person is not
allergic to the oils, they just need to cleanse and alkalinize
and then they won’t have those reactions to the oils.

Currently as I’m writing this report I am doing the Master
Cleanse. I have a systemic candida issue that I have been
fighting since my teens so I know this animal, or critter, real
well - to the point of professionally counseling others in their
fight on candida.

As a result of the cleanse I have a die-off occurring and I have
perfectly symmetrical skin candida lesions on my hands. They are
on the exact same spot on both hands (photo above).

They feel like little bug bites. . .and that is exactly what they
are - the difference is - it is a bite from the inside out.

Candida overgrowth is so prevalent, so even if you think you
don’t have this problem it is highly likely that you do. If you
read what the symptoms are and identify any of those as problems
you are living with - then I would bet that the underlying issue
is candida.

Is there a test for this? It is difficult to get good accurate
readings on this - and candida, like other life forms, can change
from minute to minute - so the best identifier for candida is by
symptoms.
