Healthy Food on the Run
This is one of the biggest challenges ~ taking healthy foods on the run.
One of the best nutrient dense foods that we can grab and run with are nuts. Nuts are protein rich and have really good fats and can sustain our blood sugar for a long time.
Its important that you get the “cleanest” nuts as possible. Ideally raw and organic. Best to get at your local health food store.
What you DON’T want to do is get a can of Planters Peanuts - that is the worst!
I also think health bars are good. Many of them are loaded with sugar which you don’t want!
My favorite (of course) is Young Living’s Wolfberry Crisp Bar - loaded with protein and the glycemic index is low - sweetened with agave.
